Now in its 13th year the Nairn Book and Arts Festival is a feast for the senses, your mind will be stimulated, and your spirits raised.
This year, the literary events span the centuries, topics from real life adventure and travel to crime, real and fictional, and politics. The music programme includes a strong Scottish core and the warmth and sunshine of Spain, while the varied visual arts programme includes a return to staging an open exhibition in Nairn, always an exciting event. There is also a range of workshops led by highly regarded artists.
Now becoming a tradition, the Kids’ Day features indoor and outdoor events which we are able to provide free for children thanks to community support through Nurturing Nairnshire.
Some events will sell out fast, so don’t delay in buying tickets, available online (nairnfestival.co.uk) or at the Community Centre or Nairn Bookshop. Keep in touch via the website, Twitter, Facebook and enewsletter. This is your festival: enjoy it.
